I Am Trauma
In the Fall of 2022, I finally woke up from my Trauma Coma and faced the truth of my reality… I Am Trauma. By that, I mean that I came to the realization that the majority of my behaviors, my beliefs, and my personality were trauma responses. At that time, I was devastated. Today, I feel blessed. I’ve been given the opportunity to heal and on my healing journey, I’ve found my purpose…
I am a Healer.
I once lived in survival mode, unaware of how deeply trauma shaped my life. Today, I live with hope, purpose, and a mission to guide others out of the shadows of their own pain.
Holey House is a space where anger, depression, and toxicity are transformed into healing—for myself and others. Through my art, words, and resources, I aim to help those seeking answers and inspire others to start examining themselves with patient curiosity.
Holey House's Mission
At its core, this Holey exists to be a lighthouse for those lost in the storm of unresolved trauma. It’s a safe harbor where shame is dismantled, vulnerability is celebrated, and healing becomes possible.
Our mission is to guide readers on the journey from merely surviving to thriving, by helping them understand the unseen wounds they carry and equipping them with the tools to reclaim their power and purpose.
We believe in the power of truth—raw, unfiltered, and honest. By sharing personal stories, evidence-based insights, and actionable resources, we aim to shine a light on the connections between trauma and mental illness. This blog is not just about pointing out the pain; it’s about helping people move through it, teaching them how to patch the holes trauma has left behind in their lives.
We are here for the seeker, the doubter, and the believer alike. For the person who knows something isn’t right but doesn’t have the words to explain it. For the individual whose past still whispers lies into their present. For anyone looking to break free from the generational cycles that bind them.
Our mission is rooted in compassion and built on the belief that healing isn’t a destination—it’s a daily practice, an ongoing process of becoming whole again. Together, we will transform pain into purpose and use knowledge as a tool for liberation. Because when we heal ourselves, we become vessels of light for others to follow.
My Vision
Our vision is to create a ripple effect of healing that starts with a single story and stretches across the world. This blog isn’t just a collection of words—it’s a movement. A place where survivors of trauma, mental illness, and generational pain can come to feel seen, heard, and understood. We envision a world where understanding trauma isn’t the exception but the rule, where the conversation around mental health is as natural as talking about the weather.
We aim to be more than a blog. This is a sanctuary—a Holey House for the soul—where brokenness is embraced as a part of the journey, not the end of it. We want to create a platform that not only educates but inspires action: whether it’s seeking therapy, starting a journal, or simply taking a deep breath and saying, “I deserve to heal.”
Our dream is to make trauma education accessible to everyone, regardless of where they are on their journey. Through storytelling, resources, and community-building, we will empower individuals to rebuild their lives, one step at a time. We envision partnerships with therapists, advocates, and educators to amplify the impact of this work.
Long-term, this blog will evolve into a global resource hub—offering courses, books, workshops, and even retreats. A place where healing isn’t just a concept but a lived experience. We imagine a community so connected that when one person learns to patch their holes, they inspire someone else to do the same.
This vision is rooted in hope, grounded in truth, and fueled by a deep desire to turn pain into purpose. Together, we can create a future where trauma doesn’t define us—it refines us.
